Captain Blood is the antagonist in the episode, Pirates of Doom.
Background[]
According to the Legendex, Captain Blood was an obsessed supernatural 17th century pirate. His lifetime goal was to locate a relic known as the Red Ruby Rose; a treasure capable of turning the ocean red. The relic also had the ability to resurrect his fallen pirate mates so that he can dominate the world.
In the episode, Pirates of Doom, Martin steals a necklace that belonged to Captain Blood unaware that it was a key piece to the Red Ruby Rose and that it was cursed. Martin turns his teacher and Java into pirates and stormed the Center where he shackled M.O.M. and some Center agents. Fortunately, Diana found out why Martin was acting strangely and freed M.O.M. and the agents when she came to the Center to report to her. Diana went after Captain Blood where she used her own brains and brawn to defeat Captain Blood and she separated the Red Ruby Rose and the necklace. She threw the Red Ruby Rose into the ocean and she handed M.O.M. the necklace where it was to be kept safely locked.

Captain Blood is a tall, lean middle aged man that bares a striking resemblance to Martin with long blonde hair and brown eyes.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Supernatural power:
- Invocation of souls: The blood captain can conquer the souls of the deceased and make them possess a human body which they take possession of. The only way to restore victims to normal is to take the necklace back from the wearer, avoiding wearing it around the neck.
- Possession: He can take possession of a human body if his pendant is worn around his neck. He has complete control over their words and actions and retained all of his powers. Unless you manage to remove the medallion from the wearer, when the ruby is on it, the possession is stronger and you have to tear it off by removing the jewel.
- Acrobatic and Athletic Abilities:
- Sailor skill: He is an accomplished sailor who lived at a time when sailing at sea required precise training. Demonstrates it from the start and throughout, he knows how to read and use nautical charts.
- Combat skill: He is a very skilled fighter despite he and his team being outnumbered. They managed to master more qualified center agents in a short time with efficiency.
- Fencing: The captain is a very competent swordsman, especially since he had spent a lot of time at sea fighting with swords. He uses it with great agility and skill.
